Food Chick Tip of the day 5/2/14

Today’s Chick Tip….Vitamin C is important to us for aiding in staving off viruses and infection. Oranges are commonly known as the best way to get Vitamin C but sometimes the acidity of an orange is a little much to handle. Some great alternatives to oranges with just as much Vitamin C if not more per serving are; broccoli, red bell peppers, strawberries, pineapple and kiwi.BONUS TIP…..Stir fry broccoli,red bell pepper and pineapple with chicken breast and serve over Quinoa for a delicious and nutritious meal!P.S. Are you a fast eater? Eat with chopsticks to slow your meal down and savor the flavor!
