Today’s BACON Tip…..This is probably one of my favorite BACON recipes and is a great appetizer for parties. Goat Cheese Pops – easy and delicious!
Mix together with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon, two parts to one, goat cheese and softened cream cheese. Season with dried Italian seasoning and dried parsley being sure to not over mix. Using your hands roll the mix into bite size balls and refrigerate.
Meanwhile, cook bacon and drain off grease. Once cool chop into small pieces, not quite a fine dice but small and put into a bowl. Roll the cheese balls in the bacon and individually put them on bamboo skewers.
To serve; lay mixed greens on a platter and place the “Pops” with sticks up for the perfect party appetizer!
